Welcome to the Narrandera Sports Ground

The Narrandera Sports Ground is located at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Elizabeth Streets Narrandera, New South Wales Australia. It is the premier sporting and cultural venue in the Riverina region.

The Sports Ground has a comfortable capacity of 15,000 for sporting matches and 25,000 for cultural and musical events.

Recently the largest crowd in 48 years packed the ground to see a game put on by the local government and community with the help of the Australian Football League and AFL Southern NSW.

The Sydney Swans and Collingwood Magpies put on a great show for the fans with Sydney winning easily in the final quarter.

2008 NAB Challenge back in Narrandera

The Narrandera Sportsground will again be the venue for a NAB AFL Challenge Game.

The game between Sydney Swans (2007 combatants) and Richmond Tigers should produce a memorable match to celebrate the 150th Year of Australian Football.

Officials are hoping for a record AFL crowd to improve on the 2007 official crowd of 10,979 where Sydney defeated Collingwood. The unofficial ground record is 12,500.

Admission will be as follows;

Tickets are
$14 for adults,
$8 for students and pensioners,
$2 for children under 15 or
$28 for a family of two adults and two children.
There are also a limited number of Grandstand Tickets available at $5.00ea approx 300
